Here's the legacy of posts from the old Manboard, right from the very beginning.

The posts are presented in chronological sequence, earliest first. If you've a mind to, have a read, but be warned, there are many pages, and not all the posts make sense........
Boldly going.......

Well, here's the first message on the new Bulletin Board. I hope everyone who finds their way here will also find it a worthwhile journey.

You can use smilies :) in the messages and can also use AGCodes (AG Code is 'advanced guestbook' that allows you to apply some simple formatting rules to your messages).

So you can use BOLD text, or you might choose italics for some reason.

You can also display images if you've a mind to. Which could be a handy way of adding fruit to the proceedings.

To see how to do these extra bits and pieces, just click on the show legend link in the post a message dialogue.

If you'd like to see any other facilities added to the bulletin board, please let me know.

Jules - this is more like it - back to the scrolling message style of the old Bulletin Board and with the option to play around with 'smilies' if you so wish!
Now, who's off to the Patti on 14th July?

Damn it was taken already....

Nice colours, Jules - reminds me of Lager and blackcurrant with a blue potato background. I approve. Do you take pop-up adverts?

When we get to twenty posts the earlier bulletins should start to wrap onto additional screens, and the navigation list box at the right (The white box with BULLETIN displayed) should start to make more sense too.

If any pilgrim has a burning desire for pop-ups and oodles of little blinky-blinky ads dotted around the place, I can sure oblige ya.

Personally I'm not yet convinced of the font size and colour choices. They looked fine when I threw this together at home last night, but in the office my PC suffers a bit from screen glare (on these rare days that the sun is shining) and some of the text against the blue background is very hard to read.

Absolutely superb (with a slight reservation about the colours). Would it be better with the date in separate column so's not to detract from the message?

Thanks for setting this up Jules. Two bulletin boards are better than one, and this bulletin board is better than the other one !! Who is doing the review of the RAH ?!
