.... on the BITF CD I mean. I reckon it should read all the studio tracks plus the 2 bonus ones on the first disc, with the rest spread over the other 2 discs (with Bananas, Life On The Road and Aint on the 3rd.)
Bit disappointed that the other Max Darkness live tracks from the nights at the Roundhouse haven't apparently been salvageable. Still - great to have what's there available in good quality with some unreleased stuff too.

I would think the Berkeley tracks on Max Dark and Slow Motion are the official recording UA did. That is a good one. I'll take it.

The BITF seems to duplicate some of the live titles.. Are these a different night? Good to have. And of course the single and Symbol.

Yeah, too bad the rest of the Max Dark seems to be MIA. I was looking forward to that.

Of course, mention was made of the complete 1975 Glasgow concert being sitting on the shelves - still hopeful that this might make an appearance (particularly so if sales of the reissues have been good)

I think the idea with BITF is to have the original double album on disc1, then the complete concert on discs 2 and 3 with the couple of bonus studio tracks tagged on the end.

The does mean that some tracks will be repeated but it does mean people can listen to the album as it was originally released if they want to.

There will be a carful of us heading down to Swansea for tomorrow night's gig.

Fingers crossed for a great night :wink2:

I'm new to this messaging lark although I've been visiting the site for a few years now. However having read Alan's message that there is a tape of the Glasgow Apollo 1975 Max Darkness gig in existance was just too much for me. I was only 14 back then & couldn't get to go. I bought Maximum Darkness the week it came out and have loved it ever since.I always wondered what else had been played and now there is a tape that can tell us. Who has this tape? where is this tape? How can I get hands on this tape? (sorry, gone a wee bit daft there!

@25752:

Mike Aboud, I gues Quicksiver these days is Gary Duncan and some associates (maybe Elmore???). I'm tempted to believe that Ron S. knows more about their present form. Do you, Ron?

Uncle Bill - mention was made of the Glasgow show when Mark Powell was trawling the EMI vault and tapes of this performance were found.  I'm not aware that this has ever been in public circulation.

However, I do have an audience recording of that show if you'd be interested.

Uncle Bill - I also work for a govt dept who have recently issued dire warnings about using our e-mail addresses in the public domain.  Not trying to be a miserable git, but some have lost their jobs.  You can post without your address appearing.

(Note from Admin for Uncle Bill - let us know if you want the e-mail removed and it will be done)

Allan, yes I would be interested indeed.I have also just followed the link to your blog very nice. I am a poor old lonely scotsman who lives alone with the same dreadful sickness that you too suffer from(excessive bouts of dribbling on in an obsessive way about Micky, Deke et al) but no longer has any fellow Manoraks around to share this with. I also have to suffer the added problem of living so far away from anywhere where the Man band or associates will come & play. I was at the last 2 Renfrew ferry gigs and they were excellent. But visits to the chilly Northlands are all too infrequent.
