Random Romain thought from Saturday

When the DVD comes out, will Deke have been found to sing the same verse on 'Romain' twice or three times?

In fact, how was the song split between Deke, Micky and Martin in the 'good old days'? I seem to recall Martin singing the last verse but did Micky sing one?

Finally on the subject I once soundchecked with the band on Romain (on bass) in a village hall somewhere in the valleys - Martin was grappling with the mechanics of a problematical Transit van. It came up to 'my' verse, and my mind went a complete blank  :P

I wasn't asked back...

I think Deke used to sing 1st and 2nd verse and the 3rd was for Martin.
Last part of the verses used to be sung by Martin and Micky: I was lain-I was lain-underground-underground-and the crowd-and the crowd...
Sometimes with a desastrous result, like the last verse of Friday 13th' 1983 concert: "I was talking underground"...

Yes, the concept of mashing up was invented by Man. Fancy that. And it's true.

Nationsounds - the label that brought you Shake The Nation and raised 1,500 in memory of Micky...

That is like a lyric sheet from a Japanese issue.  :)

"I was lying, on the ground, and the crowd, stood around..."

No offence meant Joan, it just tickled me.

I'm sure you would have been laughing at John and my attempts at pronouncing your name when photographing people with that sign for you...  ???

Iowerth, I've sent an e-mail about the Micky tribute CD,
I can't read the messages in the Yahoo forum and I don't know what it is all about.
You could explain a bit in the topic you did, couldn't you?
