Man Glasgow Apollo 1975
« on: August 04, 2008, 01:33:19 PM »
Owing to an inability to tell the difference betwen two and three I have a spare copy of this show on a pair of CDs.

For those of you not on Dime, I'm happy to post this to the first of you that contacts me with their home address.

Seems like a better idea than binning the surplus discs!!

not all of us are Dime capable. Any chance someone could post this on Rapid Share where us mortals could access it?

Allan,

My respect for you grows by the hour.  Thank the Lord that I had a dull lunchtime and caught your message.  Hopefully, this will result in a contribution of beers for your personal consumption just prior to Christmas...

Dave

very good then. I appreciate it. I've been posting the odd bits here http://33782.rapidforum.com/ at the It's Psych Forum. Search for posts by Guy Stevens. Of course it's usually just live stuff from my collection, and not necessarily Man rarities. If I'm gonna give stuff out, it'll be here as this is easiest.

Just been made redundant at work, or turfed as my Canadian friends would say. The owners would like to blame the economy or the book keeper, but I feel it was squarely on their shoulders, and got the chance to spell it out. They still like me and made two offers for the future, that is if the can pull their nuts out of the fire in the next month. Slim odds, but I did give them a line on some government business development money. Sad to see so much work pissed away. I get 6 months unemployment at the least, and some termination compensation.  :'(

The bad news is, this means I could be around here a lot more often making trouble, for a while anyway.

tony- as I don't like working for others, this is a blessing. it takes me back to the days of my record sales, and the puzzle wits I had to deal with. I just don't need this to make me feel smart. Fucc, I can deal with those Welsh bastards, why should this be any harder? It will  give me a bit of time to get this damn Brain album done. By coincidence, I saw Colter for the first time in ages at the grocery store and we plotted the next step. Surprises where you least expect.

Innit life strange? No, it is totally predictable, and I couldda told the owners they were headed for the toilet... so given the chance I told 'em.

Free time = music and maybe your pals George and Martin will take advantage of this minor mishap and offer me some real work.

har har

So sorry to hear that Ron. I work for the government employmnet service here in Glasgow, but I,m afraid we don't see many jobs for your line of work. Sadly you are not going to be alone either in the US or here in UK. My (soon to be ex) wife has just had the same fate as you and she worked for Glasgow University who are soon to pay off another 285 people as well. Difficult times lie ahead for us all I'm afraid.
Best wishes
Bill R
