Did Pugh, Pugh, Barnew McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb ever had to deal with a fire of any sort? Ever?

A very interesting fact for everybody. At BFC, in recent years, we have had two Pugh's, a Barney, and a Dibble playing for us.

4 out of 6 isn't a bad ratio is it?

I bet Partick Thistle can't match that.

Just heard there's been a fire at the Upper Llanolleum pie factory. Fortunately there were no serious casualties, but 3.1415927 people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. I'm trying to cheer us all up.

Been nosing through some of the old threads. This one is great, especially the gag about President Obama visiting the hospital.

Can't believe I didn't respond to this at the time, but did you know back in the late 1980's our full back line was Dinnie, Kerr.

Midfield couldn't give a fuck either ;-)

Back in the 1980's, Southampton had a centre half pairing of Holmes and Watson, and famously Charlton Athletic had a striking pair of Flanagan and Allen around the same time. They spent a lot of time "Strollin', just strollin'"!!!!!

It wasn't Charlton it was Crystal Palace - my memory's failing.

1. Port Vale twin strikers in the 80's were Newton and Ridley
2. Spooky. Reading one of Tel's too rare posts, and listening to sounds of the 60's which Tel got me into
3. Back to footy. Sat in the car at our pick up point waiting for others on the way to N'hampton. Massive game. C'mon Bury!

It would have been even spookier if Sir Brian had been playing Spooky by the lat great Miss Springfield  :)

My posts maybe rare but they are still the same old shit I used to post 10 years ago.

Northampton Rob - sounds like a load of cobblers to me  ;D

watched a bit of Burnley v Leicester earlier and Burnle had a pairing of Barnes & Wallace (sp?).
They went down a bomb.

On the subject of going down a bomb, any reviews forthcoming from Man's recent 2014 2-gig tour of Germany? Just asking like ...

No review but 2 gigs are available for download on Dime - so you can form your own opinion.

Excellent. I'm not a Dime subscriber but I'll see if my nephew can get at them.

Dime is all well and good, but wouldn't a review by Mr Ace (or another) be nice/thoughtful/courteous?
