Something that shouldn't annoy me but nevertheless does is when someone walks down the street holding their mobile phone in an over - demonstrative manner. Not actually using it, just handling it in a manner last seen when Captain Kirk was about to use his communicator. And all this despite having a bag and pockets. Next.

Groups of 2 or three people who amble down corridors and walk in the middle.  FFS get in the slow lane and let me past.

drivers who stay out of the bus lane during the hours when the bus lane is open to all. Why don't they use those camera cars to nab them?

Hmm, interesting suggestions....although in most cases mentioned so far I think these are things where feeling annoyed could be considered a reasonable response. What I'm looking for are things that shouln't be annoying.

In this connection I would like to add: Men wearing short trousers and and thinking it's alright. Shudder!

How about: it's November and there's some people walking around wearing sunglasses. Not for eye protection purposes, but permanently raised in case of sudden super nova and posing value. Maybe it annoys me because I wish I'd thought of it first. Gnash.

Think my list above fits this criteria quite well.
I shouldn't be annoyed that others can find pleasure in listening to the current Man farce..
I shouldn't be annoyed that tribute bands can make a living (and damn good one) sponging of off the creativity of others..

I'm biting, but only a little bit.

Tucky, it's an interesting one abut tribute bands. We've had this discussion before.  On the one hand,  are they taking the living away from young bands trying to get onto the gig circuit? On the other hand, are they keeping venues open enabling young bands to get on the gig circuit?   etc etc etc................

And there are 2 well known and highly accomplished musicians we know and love, doing their covers bit, and hopefully earning a good living doing it.....

which reminds me, surely somebody here knows whether Bob R is in Yorkshire tomorrow night
