...when somebody screws up a saying who is not "hip" and it gets into the general pantheon and you're hearing it on newscasts, in articles, reading it in books.here's two examples.when i grew up ,when you made a mistake you said(if you were hip) "my bag" not "my bad" as people do today. as in "what's your bag?" "my bag is music"...can't stand it when i hear "my bad". and this second one...i need to take a deep breath...ok, it's "deep SEEDED" as in a seed deep within the ground that you can't get to and change what's growing out of it.not "deep seated" ffs(thanks for that saying) what the hell is a deep seat??? "i'm sorry sir,it was a really deep seated problem. i mean that seat was REALLY deep".what, it was meaningful? i mean we even have the saying "deeply rooted problem". that's where it comes from.how am i to trust a news article that can't get that straight.i'm seeing "deep seated" all over the place...maybe i'm wrong here...but i don't think so...i guess this stuff shouldn't bother me, oh but how it does...cheers-Davey
