I think we have the powder blue Cortina in Mk 3 guise, but the rover red Cortina in Mk 4 ?  or maybe Mk 5 ??
Either way, still remaining one of the greatest, if not the greatest thing I've ever seen in my whole life, is Jim Clark, the greatest of them all, hurtling a Cortina (Mk 1 though) around Oulton Park at a speed and at angles you wouldn't think possible.

Jeez, I used to have a teal blue (none of your powder rubbish) Moggy Marina all those years ago. ETU 492K. Shifted a bit. Recall driving through the night back from the hills of Mid Wales without use of the clutch. Knackered slave cylinder. Changed gear by pumping the clutch pedal. Also recall one of the rear springs going, fuel pipe breaking. Oh and once I'd turned the ignition on, I could pull the key out of the lock. Had great fun with young girls out in the middle of nowhere saying we were stuck. Well, just the one girl actually, but hey ho.

Good luck tomorrow Rover. I'd usually accept one point because I like you, but we're in desperate need, so hope we get the 3pts, but I fear a 1-2 scoreline in favour of you lot.
