..try working outside on a sunday up here in Scourie. Definately no no. We have a population of 200, I can see three churches from the kitchen window, and theres 4 services a day for the four denominations..

But I love it. Just got back from Inverness having taken 3 kids (not ours) to a chess competition. Had a great day and now settling down with one or two of those £1.50 Dark Islands..

Whilst I'm at it, I see we're all praying for that footballer who had a heart attack recently - I would have thought his remarkable recovery was down to the skill and response of the medical teams and to suggest that it was down to other forces shows a total lack of respect for their incredible work. What would be the implication if he died?

Probably the most painful thing that I ever had done was a similar injection in the wrist for tendonitus. And that includes major abdominal surgey last year.

Once the anisthetic wears off it hurts like f**k. And I still don't have full movement in my right hand thumb. Not enough to incapacitate but every so often it twinges.

So, I don't care what anybody else says, you have my fullest sympathy Pete.
