Bill Smarme, performer extraordinaire
« on: December 15, 2010, 02:48:57 PM »
I finished a great week of gigs with a trip to Bath to see Bill Smarme at the Bell.
[Richard Thompson on Monday and the Ray on Tuesday]

Ok, its bluegrass, but if you want to hear the Talking Heads Psychokiller reworked for the building trade or the 12 finger foods of Christmas he is the man and easily as good as Jon Otway. Unilke Otway he does no travel far from home, Twerton.

Yes. In an ever changing world, it's good to have something you can rely on.

Twerton.

Who you calling a twerton?
Virgin places don't mean a thing to people who never bring their hearts along.

M is for Man.  There used to be a band called Man. They were great.

(Are we now getting confused with threads?)

Get out your guitars! Put on your Cheap Sunglasses!

An exciting evening of Texas blues and boogie will be held in Upper Llanoleum Village Hall by our resident Disc Jockey, Mr Z.Z. Pritchard.

Yes, Rob - although she's going out with the owner of the Upper Llanoleum Motorcycle Club, Mr T.T. Pritchard.

I I says Mrs Pritchard in a questioning and suspicious manner

...And the latest score from the Pritchard Stadium is:

Llanoleum Athletic Academical Wanderers - 0
AFC Ynecawla - 6 (Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub)

Looks like the Wanderers are heading for easy victory, especially now that Mr F.O. Pritchard has been sent off for using foul and abusive language.

Back to you, Andy.
