My brother used to live in Capel Dewi, that's about 4.5 miles as the crow flies, to the west..

strange but true. The primary school closed there last year and some of the children have moved over to our daughters school at Cwrtnewydd

Brilliant!!  Brechfa, been there a few times with the RAC. There's a few Capel places I recall. Capel Curig springs to mind. What the eck's a capel then?

I was at a pub the other night. This rough looking no good bloke asks me what kind of things I like. I mentioned watching music, the theatre, to which he said do you like poetry? I said yeah, it's not bad. He asked me who I like. I said Burns. He stuck his fag in my eye....

"capel" is a chapel me thinks, Capel Curig is further north

Just a thought but is Jeff Singer a member on here by any chance? I've known Jeff for yonks but lost touch over the years, he was my best man when I married the 1st time. Met him by chance locally about 5 years ago so I'll have to catch up with him
