Going Out Tonight And I Don't Know What To Wear
« on: May 21, 2011, 06:41:19 PM »
As the title states really. I don't now why, but although advice is sought from anybody, I'm particularly interested to hear Mike (MBB)'s opinion.

I'm torn between the Man Rhino's Wino's T Shirt in blue, or my MJ Ponty T Shirt in purple. Any alternative ideas will be welcome.

Not sure if this is in the right section as well   ;D

And Mike, did I ever tell you.........?

Floyd first caught my attention with Emily, then a few years later with a BBC thing where I heard Set the controls.  Another bit of a gap until Meddle and then Dark side and I was completely sold until Momentary Lapse.

I regularly check out a site called ' A Fleeting Glimpse' which is tremendous as far as breaking news goes, but seems to be full of po faced anoraks.  They arranged all sort of meetings in The Pilot pub near the o2 and I was so happy to know where this bunch were meeting so that I could avoid them.  Unlike the Pink Geranium last September.

I looked at all the people wearing PF / RW t-shirts and thought most of them looked like a bunch of saddoes (particularly @ £30 a pop for the t-shirt!).  Wear a Man based shirt and have people wondering who they are/were and better still if someone recognises it, it shows the exlusivity!

ENJOY  and tell us what you thought. 8)

Report (of sorts) is elsewhere, but on the fashion front, it was always going to be the MJ Ponty t shirt.

And Mike's saying somebody may recognise Man/MJ, well funny you say that. A few years back, I was wearing the blue R,W&L at a Southside Johny gig in M/cr. This bloke comes right up to me, stares at the tshirt, and said to his Missus, "that is my favourite band". We struck up an immediate friendship culminating in him inviting me to his 40th (or was it 50th)  for which he invited Man to play. A great night. Unfortunately he seems to have disappeared off the radar, so Webby if you're reading this, hi  pal, how ya doing, don't be a stranger!!
