Thanks for replies re tickets on the door for Leamington.
Should be interesting to see Martin and Deke together again.

If anyone wants to say hi I'm the fat bald fella with my diminutive Japanese wife.
If not hope to say hi to some of you on Dec 17th.
Bizarrely, met a massive Man fan at a recent Nick Lowe gig.  A Japanese mechanic who didnt speak a word of English, :-\ but knew the lyrics of every song I fired at him - even Map of India.

October 1st  (no) ... December 17th (YES) 8) Already booked up a hotel near by for the lads and myself :-* and then straight up for Deke's show on the 18th ;D ...
Sorry to be thick, but a search of this site, the calender, the interweb has drawn a blank for details of Dec 17th.
Could someone point me in the right direction.
Swansea Premier Inn is now 62 flaming quid!

I guess the Premier Inn has  a limited number of rooms at a cheapie price.  Some of the boarders may be able to offer a view on the Oystermouth Road options ( 5 / 10 minutes away from Swansea City centre).  That date is one of the two 'black Fridays/weekends' so I s'pose everyone is putting their prices up.

Thanks Michael and Mike M.
Ibis Swansea has a deal at £43 but its 4 miles from The Club. (about 40 beer miles for me!)
Thanks for the heads up on Oystermouth Road - off to surf for a deal now.

Pontadawe was much easier!

Not only is he inconsonant, he's also a first rate tw*t    ;D    ;D

And AP, the historic home(s) to members of this Message Board when visiting Wales, is Oystermouth Road and its Guest Houses. I think we've all got tales to tell about some of the places we've stayed.

In fact, I'm feeling a bit of a phoney staying at some posh hotel (even though it's only £19 + brekky).    8)

"Prennier Inn" and "Posh" in the sanne sentence? I suppose if it's good enough for Lenny (that's 2 n's, not an nn!!)

Hey Pete, the Premier Inn and posh do go together when compared to some of the places I've stayed at on the Oystermouth Rd. From the very first stay at the inaugural JBO, when the landlady answered the door to me and immediately said I won't be getting breakfast the following morning because they've just had a break in, (I bartered the price down, and had my brekky at the service station on the M4), to the most recent stay, when both John B and me were put off our breakfast by the sound of the chef (sic, very sic) coughing his guts up, to the chef coming in to the dining area (more sic) and I think we could see his guts all over him).....

And thanks for not taking offence at my post above. TBH, I thought you may take it wrong. You know I love you  :-*
