Anybody tried those limited edition Kiwi berries currently on sale at Asda?
They are very refreshing but the after-taste is a bit grass-like and, no I don't mean that grass, I mean pasture meadow type grass.
Nice though, eating them in a bowl in the back garden in the bright sunshine.

What are kiwi berries?  Are they a smaller version or something?

I have a gooseberry in mind.  Perhaps not the greatest of ambitions, but there you go.

They look like little olives (~1.5 - 2 cm long) or hairless non-translucent gooseberries with no veins or segment lines and are apparently best eaten when dark green and soft (the berries that is).
