Due to Financial difficulties, I am having to part with this, my American made 1978 Fender Musicmaster bass. The bass is very well loved, the eggshell paint all original with all the tell-tale dings and chips you would expect from a much played instrument.
The bass is basically a miniature Fender Precision, except with a 30" inch scale, single Strat-type pickup and single tone/volume control. Great for smaller statured bass players, for people looking for a bass with a more guitar-like feel & the ability to play chords, or someone who is simply looking to make a quirky new addition to their collection.
Without even considering how lovely it is to play guitar, the main reason it breaks my heart to have to part with it is that it has history. It belonged to Micky Jones, and as far as I know it has only passed through one other set of hands before mine, and those were George Jones'.
Due to upload restrictions on the forum, I have had to dump the pictures of the guitar on my Flickr account, here's the link:

OH and I'm also including a link to a video of a very similar bass being played, just to give you an idea of the tone. The bass featured looks nigh-on identical to mine... apologies for the sound quality!
