There will no doubt be lots of comment and photos, and reviews from people who are much better at writing them than I, but I have had a quick look at the movie I shot of Deke Leonard's Iceberg doing "Bring It On Home", and it will be up on YouTube just as soon as I get my head together.

I had a thoroughly good night, but left with the feeling that I hadn't really seen an Iceberg gig.  Great musicianship, great choice of covers, originals and back catalogue stuff but the blend left me feeling I'd seen more of an 'all stars' band rather than Iceberg.  That said, it was a bloody good night and I'd pay to go and see it / them again.

Nice on stage banter with Will asking Deke at one point if Deke thought his book was a bit expensive and asking him if he knew there was a recession.

A night to be commended.

Having now read elsewhere that Deke has requested concert footage not to be uploaded to YouTube, I'll respect his wishes. After all nobody likes being bootlegged. If anyone wants to see it I'm sure I could pop it on a CD-R, but I think I might post a copy to the man himself before doing anything else with it.
