Well worth some applause.

I reckon Rob's "one single short snore, sometime in the middle of the night" was probably from 3 in the morning through to 10 o'clock  ;)

I was going to post a rant. To be  honest I can't be arsed.

If what's wanted is a hierarchy amongst the few here, then great. Do it. I have more of a life, than to get involved.

They say you judge a person by the company they keep. Enough said.

Gavin (and others) were right after all.

Thanks for the good times

See ya

x

Nonsense.  Complete and utter.

Nothing else to say

Perhaps you can explain then why myself, Rob and Pete T, all long term subscribers to TWC have been excluded? I'm particularly disappointed having only a couple of months ago  (around the time this newsletter started) and against my better judgement, done free filming and editing for Michael at his request.

Also I gave him the Micky Jones Memorial DVD to press for the second run which presumably he has made a profit on (no Saint Michael doesnt do all this stuff for the good of the band / charity as we did). So of course he has my email address. Well never mind but never again!

I dont look in here very often and am disappointed to see this sort of thing still going on.
Very disappointing that myself, Rob and Pete werent informed (strange how he couldnt manage to contact any of us 3) and why TF something wasnt at least posted on here about it (perhaps even the newsletter itself) it wouldnt have been that dificult!

Dear me whatever next?

PS I was right Allan!

Gav, you really do need to get sorted on this.

You posted yesterday a similar post on the newslette thread, and I referred you to reply #6 of that thread. The one where I apologised to MH because he had tried to contact me and I'm told, others. You acknowledged that.

I can't understand why you're therefore repeating a similar thing here. Michael assured me he did not exclude me.  Sorry Gav, but I therefore distance myself from that reference to me.

Yes you are correct about many other points you raise (not referring to your post here, though).

I can only repeat my thanks to MH for having the courtesy to phone me and explain what happened.

I preferred reading Davey's stuff.  The world must look better through his eyes, perhaps we should borrow them.

One snort from Rob W!  No wonder he looked tired next morning.

Hmmmm! I wonder which way this is going.

And Davey. The following morning, we shared breakfast together. You and me. On a small table with a vase containing a red rose no less.

Our night together. Didn't it mean anything to you?

Terrible sh*g anyway

I went to see the Wilko Johnson Band last night and really enjoyed it. The place was packed and everybody was just really enjoying themselves. Nobody mentioned that Dr Feelgood are still touring without Wilko or Lee Brilleaux, or even that the Blockheads are touring without Ian Dury.

To see all the whinging going on here 4 years after the band split is so sad. And Michael does no favours to the band and it's "family" (lol)with the way he carries on just encouraging division amongst the handful of fans that are left.

As dissmissive as the likes of Allan, Jules and Michael are I was right with what I said about the split thats why were all left just raking through the ashes now. Even Davy with his rose tinted spectacles has a greater sense of balance (great story BTW). I'm starting to think that actually it would be more respectful to Micky, Clive etc. if this all ended. All things have to come to an end. This is undignified and shabby and this once great band deserves better.

I'm going to delete my account here I have better things to do than get involved this crap any more.
You all (and especially you Michael) should be totally ashamed of yourselves.

So that leaves 14... enough for a clique?  :(

... All so very sad, that it's become so partisan. As Mike M said, it's like a feud at a family wedding.

Notwithstanding where we are now, I don't think anyone can deny the collective input that all the band members have contributed to over the last 40-odd years (and some of them have been very odd indeed.) Surely the same can be said about the various boarders and their contributions (not the bit about the oddness).

Thought Davey's post was a great read, it seems to smack of a bygone mindset, probably one that most of us had back in the day.

Whatever ... I still find this board an island of sanity in an otherwise mad world. Listening to The Russian Wilds album just now. Very nice indeed.

Well that's more than attended The Last Supper.  And look what became of that lot, in spite of all the divisions.

(Ducks for cover.  Wondering what on earth he meant by that... :-[)

Back up to 15   :)

Received an unexpected but most welcome pm last night from someone not been on the board for a long, long time and rejoined. (Post was nothing to do with the goings on). Another fella to be introduced at the Dec gig. Providing he doesn't fall foul of those nasty Druids (in joke, sorry! Google Oulton Park double apex corner if you're fussed. Martin, you can use a reference book).

if 14 is a clique, do we call 15 a rugby team  ?

I read somwehere that the number 13 is considered unlucky because that's the number of people who sat at the Last Supper.

Not te self:  get out of the house a bit more.
