Off work....
« on: January 11, 2012, 02:19:51 PM »
I've had my christmas break extended by a bout of illness.   Just getting back into the saddle today by working from home.

What was it I had?  A bout of Manbandflu!!

Are you a jockey?

And whilst you were off, I have been trying to keeping the cogs of industry turning, not least  by having a meeting yesterday with my PT loving acquaintance. He's quite 'bullish' about your boys. :)

Talking of work, sunny today, helped chap refit a neighbours tv aerial, started neighbour's tractor - first time for a couple of months, drove down to shop on it and got paperto take it for a run, looked to see if there's any seaweed on the beach, chopped logs, delivered 10 dozen eggs, had a few beers..

Tomorrow have to meet my employer and discuss strategies for the holiday let, fix a mate's shower.. Life is hard..

Pete, I'm with you all the way, matey. The tractor bit reminds me of when I was a little kid, stayed on a farm in Abersoch, and very very first thing every morning the farmer took me on his tractor to collect the milk, I'd sit on the mudguard. Can still recall it.....just. I'm envious of you, but not that much. I'm loving it at the moment, didn't get home until after 10, opened a bottle of Fursty Ferret, and  a mega surprise for lil ol' me. Bouncing! Then tomorrow is Shakers v Sheff U, I've got 210 extras coming from a local junior football club, then the Mancy Floyd at Bury Met.  Maybe, just maybe, there's a god somewhere, lurking.  or more likely, Uncle Bill is taking care of me. GET IN  :)  :)
