He certainly had something going with Decca. "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" was on Decca and he signed Genesis up to that label too.

The follow up, Round Round was a small hit in the US. Great anti-drug song, or drug song depending on your point of view. A driving tune, not unlike Bring A Little Loving by Los Bravos, the follow up to their one hit. I played Everyone's Gone To The Moon recently on my show, and noticed how much it sounds like later day Flaming Lips! Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Anybody brave enough to say "I think he's more into pipe-cleaning than pipe-smoking"?

I seem to remember entries about Gary Glitter somewhere abouts..... he's finally been allowed to leave these shores, the good news is the plane's crashed over the channel, the bad news is... he's been found bobbing up and down on a small buoy......

I heard he'd gone to Florida with his children. "He's gone to Tampa with the kids..."

I had heard that he'd got a release date.  She's only eight but would pass for twelve with her make up on...  :-\

Bugger...I was 11.
On that very day as it happens...30/07 being my birfday.
I remember all these kids in party hats temporarily abandoning strawberry jellies to stand for the national anthem.
I'm sure had he known about this remarkable coicnidence Michael would have mentioned it in the book.

Bugger...I was 11.

Does this thread still relate to Gary Glitter, or are we on about something else here?  ???
