the drumming bit at the end of MACBFGU
« on: May 14, 2012, 08:34:38 PM »
making dinner for me n daughter, tv on in other room, I hear what sounds like the beginning of the drumming bit on MAC, you know the slow thud thud thud. I go into the room, and an advert is on ITV and it is 100% Man. No question. Hope they ALL get the royalties

i didn't take notice, too busy shouting I think it's Man, I'm sure it is, it definitely is!!! Sports trainers I think. It'll be on freeview 33 about 8.30 between Emmerdale and Corro. I've a feeling it's from Max Darkness.

PS blank tapes for El Tel and hopefully a surprise at the ready  :)

I got an email a while back from soneone saying they wanted to use some MACBFGU as background  for a Sky Sports trailer. TV, not a vehicle. I think.

Passed it on to the powers that be. Seems someone was called and got up.

Will depend how long the clip is.  There's a threshold below which royalties aren't payable - might be 30 seconds but not sure

Awesome Pete! Thanks so much for that cool plug!  More details on the MACBFGU Sky Sports issue when I get five mins to do so.

Hope this isn't a bit naff, but googling sky hd adverts, a question asks what the music is for the sky news ad. Not sure if it does refer to this one, but I've answered it in detail, and guided readers to George's FBC's if in Swansea area, and to look out for when George and Bob get SOM together. I think we should at least try and get some good marketing in. :)

Pete - nice try, but like many of the bands I've played in it sounds like there are more presenters/performers than audience....  ;D
