We went to see the band on Sat, weather was red hot a band called Space Debris were on when we arrived sounded good, then Man set up and began around 6.50 pm startd off with Spunk Rock, then a couple from KON, then back to the old Man with C´mon, MACBFGU, Romain, Bananas, The Price, There was around a 1000 people and really got a good welcome and send off.
Spoke to Josh and Phil after the gig (Got Phil´s Set List ) and had a beer with Josh while Guru Guru were playing.

So no new songs and now down to two off KON? That's progressive bands for you.
Nationsounds - the label that brought you Shake The Nation and raised £1,500 in memory of Micky...

I do. Well, maybe not totally new songs, but perhaps some from the back catalogue which have not been aired for many a long year. I'm sure we all have our favourites.

1,000 in attendance? Is that right? Not a misprint for 100?  Or something to do with the exchange rate, you know, 1,000 = 100 actual.

Whatever anyone's thoughts, if 1,000 is correct, even for a one off gig, that's a fairly healthy turnout.

Yes Rob there was at least a 1000 but remember its a two day festival and Man were not Headlining most had gone to see Guru Guru who have Headlined every year this was their 30th appearance and like Man have changed the line up many many times the only original is the Drummer.

It was a festival so that would probably account for the attendance,    By the sound of Pete's description Man wouldn't have been top of the bill so the audience would have been a mix for the bands on the bill

It's Just My View

Information is not knowledge
Knowledge is not wisdom
Wisdom is not truth
Truth is not beauty
Beauty is not love
Love is not music
Music is THE BEST........

Mani! At their peak they were one of my favourite bands...not now, though....the early stuff.

A festival? That explains it then.
