Checked with index finger whether the the little aluminium box marked "Hot!" over the gas cooker's pilot light was really hot. It was. I was branded "!toH" for a fortnight.

Not too unlike the day I spent driving to and from, to and from, to and from  the local tip with a mass clear out. The last visit of about one million, that knackered, didn't realise I left the rear hatch up until I drove through the max 6'6"barrier. Definitely shouldn't have done that!!!
