Anyone know what this might be going for?  A mate of mine saw it a boot sale today for £2.00 and wondered whether to buy it with one eye on selling it on.

Music Stack are advertizing vinyl copies from UK sellers at £4.99. £5.55, £10.50, £12 --- all the way up to £62.10
The commercial sellers usually pay about 20-30% of the price they then try to sell them for, so £2 is good if you want to keep it, but not if you want to sell to a dealer

Mike, It's all dependent on the quality of the vinyl and record sleeve, I've bought vinyl records that look mint and when you play them, you'd swear the seller played them on an old Dansette with a carpet tack as a needle and ten old pennies on the end of the arm to stop it rising.....

Thanks both.

Arjay - I think he's more interested in buying as an investment :)

John - I remember the days of the carpet tack and coins.  Hmm, that could be a good name for a song.

Razor Blade and Rattlesnake.

Broken Glass and Limejuice.  Could be a runner!

You down this December?

FFS Mike what else can you get for £2? It's got to be worth a punt  :-)

I now live up the road from Taplow rail station - must pay it a visit and commune with the ghosts.

BTW at Sutton someone bought some mint condition Man 8-track cartridges for Deke to sign, which even surprised the 'seen it all before' rock star!

The potential buyer was a Mr C Howell of Gorseinon.  You must remember him from your working days.

I have the vinyl, the original CD and the three CD set.  Clydach market on a Wednesday if you're interested in buying up some vinyl.  Col got some Bowie, Elton John and a couple of others that I don't remember.  Plenty on offer I'm told.

I have to admit that with the demise of my turntable, most of my vinyl has migrated to the attic for the foreseeable future. Even though I told myself I would not be looking to replace all my vinyl with CD versions, some of the prices nowadays make it hard to resist.

Probably, along with many others, I suspect, I now seem to have original vintage vinyl, re-mastered cassettes, remastered, re-issued with out-takes cassettes, compilation CD copies (for the car/shed/garden) with remixed bass and drum channels, digitally enhanced 25th anniversary CD boxed sets ...

LOST ALL THAT STUFF IN THE PRECIPETOUS SPLIT FROM MY OLD LIFE! Now just starting on downloading 25/40th anniversary boxed sets, buying tracks from albums where I only like 2 or 3 songs. Frightening just how much I have been spending on Amazon, should just sign over my salary to them :D

Just wondering, a few people said they'd knock out some CD's for me a little while ago.  I don't want to sound like I'm nagging or being needy but was wondering if they'd been sent and lost in the post or just forgotten about? :)
