Knifeworld.

Knifeworld are on at the Leamington Spa assembly later in the year. Never heard of them? Intriguing name for a band, So I checked out their website. Absolutely marvellous (mad) video and sounds from their latest  cd. See what you think. They may be well worth investigating. Go for it Oakers!

I AM going to check them out though.

Yes...very interesting. Particularly enjoyed the last of three tunes they've got on the video selection.
Your research is to be commended yet again Mr Akko. Look forward to the album coming out.
Incidentally, if Leamington Spa is on your doorstep I presume you;re aware that Gazpacho are appearing there on Monday night!?

Aren't Knifeworld something to do with The Cardiacs?

Thanks chaps, always good to find quality alternative stuff not just operating but hopefully thriving. Anyway, I like it. I chose their 'In A Foreign Way' video as a starter. Sort of twisty progfolk with burlesque undertones...bet they're very watchable live  ;)

I think you are confusing them with Arrested Development ?

You're right Halfamix. The mainman Kavus Torabi was in The Cardiacs. Great to see a band doing something that little bit different and as a fan of Colosseum I really enjoy that sax action. Mad and marvellous
