I think Phil's tentative title was 'Road Of Cobras' (best intoned with an oriental accent), rather than Diamond Road (which was a Deke single). The album never got past demo sessions as I recall.
I've heard of a few samples of these being passed around privately, and imagine that some of the ideas found their way into the work Phil has done with Pete Brown over the years. Ardours Of The Lost Rake and Coals To Newcastle are CDs worth tracking down.
Faraway Conapts is one of my favourite pieces of Phil's, and I remember fondly the snippets he did for the BBC programme 'Red Shift' shortly after the Neutrons folded. A great musician, and very welcome back in the fold.
