On closer inspection it could be 'ysade-nyn'... I blame Kip...
Back on topic....Deke played some sort of keyboard when I first saw them on the 75 Chippo tour. This was announced by Ace on the lines of 'now Deke's going to play the piano'....
At which a Welsh bloke in front of me roared "He can't play the piano!"
It was more of a Hammond than a grand, but he knocked a half decent tune out of it...

I too stumbled across Friday 13th - in HMV in Glasgow - and saw them live soon afterwards in a club whose name Mr Heron always has to remind me of (upstairs on Sauchiehall Street) c1985

Night Moves as it was then.

Previously known as The White Elephant and subsequently as Rooftops.   Not currently in use.

Deke played the keyboards in the Railwaymens club shortly after his return from the stroke in about 1997/8 I think.  Easter as far as I recall.

That is one from CDTM I think came out particularly well. Nice version with Terry on drums

I have quite a bit of footage of Deke on keyboards. All on VHS though. Must transfer to DVD along with all the other post 1991 gigs I recorded.

(No I'm not uploading to You Tube. One evening at The Witchwood, when Mr Ace tried to stop me recording, but I politely discussed it with him   ;)  we agreed I should keep it for personal use only.  Once I make a promise, I don't renege. If you're reading this, sir, I'm always true to my word).

Blimey - the Witchwood - I used to live in Hyde a mere barm cakes throw away. Never got to see any gigs there. Don't ask me why I can't remember.

Quite right, Pete. You tell him.

I'll now carry on listening to the wireless...
