Saw my first 3d film this morning. X-men, days of future past. Most impressed but I think I'd only pay for the big blockbustery stuff. But I think it's only that type of film that gets that treatment. Good stuff.

Actually I was a guest in Edinburgh at a recent festival of 3D short films, which was interesting - 8 films in an evening, and each one with a different approach to and use of 3D technology. The big bockbusters are so in-your-face already - the real challenge is to use 3D more subtly int eh future, I think. (If you're in London, I was a guest of the organisers of a future London 3D short film festival, happening I think this October.)
