Whereas in my opinion, it has vastly improved, at present it is no where near up to men's standards.
Regarding cheating and so on. I agree with your sentiments. But if the women's game progresses and 'big' money gets involved, if women become full time pro footballer's, and the manager's job and the player's futures are on the line, promotion/relegation etc, as in the men's game, rest assured, there will be as much cheating. Not defending it, it's a fact. Look at any other sport where money is involved.
And only so I'm not perceived to be some sexist pig, over the years, I've watched women's football, from junior's when it's mixed, to amateur women's games, and I've seen England play three times. I've formed women junior teams, and actively promoted women's football at grassroots level. I'm all for the women's game, but at present, it really is no where near up to men's standards. And the women player's and supporters say that.
