I Had A Dream...
« on: July 03, 2016, 08:19:01 PM »
The night before one of the Christmas gigs, I had a dream. Can't recall what it was about, but Clive John was in it.

At the gig I told Clive about it. Rather than being flattered, amongst other things, he questioned my sexuality.  Fortunately, our mutual interest in cricket kept us on speaking terms whenever we met. Whenever we did meet at future gigs, I always reminded him of my dream, and of course the prominent part he played in it.

Since that dream many years ago, I haven't dreamt about anything Man related.

Until last night.

Was it Deke Leonard? No
Was it Mickey Jones? No
Will Youatt with whom we also discussed cricket? No
The recent passing of Phil Ryan on my mind? Well it's on my mind, but not in the dream

No, none of those.

I recall I was going on holiday to Anglesey. I asked if a certain person was also going. This is where it becomes Man related.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Man Board.

It is with great trepidation I announce that person was none other than our very own...

Mike M

Alright Mikey Boy...   :)

Are there laws about this sort of thing?
Who do I sendbthe bill for the therapist to?
You have to be careful using the word therapist. An accidental tap of the space bar could change change  the context of the whole thing.

I think, partly answering Jules's post, Mikey most certainly is a nervous Man. Though no need sir.

A number of additional letters are appearing in your posts. A random 'b' was in your most recent post. Random duplication of words are appearing; again in the most recent post, an additional 'change' occurred, and previous posts as noticed by Pete T.

Michael, you have no need to worry. I think you were in my dream because...because... well I don't know. What I do know, is that you weren't actually in it, that is you didn't have a walk on part, I just asked if you were going. My dream ended before I got there, so you may well have said "f*ck off, I'm not going", in which case, technically speaking, were you in it, or weren't you?

Either way, in my book, you were in it. Be flattered   ;D

PS Good luck tonight.
PPS I gave a blurb on the potential implications of Brexit on my business. Within it, I made reference to 'Greater Bury'. Along the lines of 'Brexit will have little effect on Wayne and Sharon purchasing a property in Greater Bury...'  I got a bit of a laugh, a bit of applause, I breathed a sigh of relief. Thank you Mr M

One of the problemsvwith my posts, is thay are written on a table which of course means that it's not a real keyboard and the point size is minute .so I often don't read what I have written when I post.
Wine may also be a factor 😊

Thank you Robert for the good wishes regarding this evening.

I thought you were going to say, maybe we should've stayed in bed.

Bale had a poor 2nd half, so to that extent you are correct. Perhaps you could have done better. Wales certainly missed Ramsey. Couldn't do anything about that, other than maybe don't get yourself booked in the first place. Without arguably your two most influential players playing or on form, you were up against it. The goal by Ronaldo was an incredible header. Moreso the early leap and ability to hang in the air. That was worthy to win any match. I was extremely proud that for the last two weeks or so, Greater Bury had annexed Wales. You may now have it back but some great memories for us.

PS I very rarely watch footy on TV, but Wales, NI, and Eire had me engrossed. England of course were a bag of sh*te

 :)
