 It's the first time since April 1971, my first Bury match, that we've scored a goal and I didn't cheer. Weird.

On a wider point,  I've never liked this kicking the ball into touch when your team mate is injured then having the ball kicked back to you. Let the ref decide to stop the match unless he can't see the player and it really is a bad one. I've seen too many players feign injury to stop the flow of the game when under the cosh. Cheating and annoying

Extremely agree. Unsporting conduct. Lower league football used to be relatively free of this nonsense, but it seems to be creeping in there too. The reason I found the ladies world cup so refreshing was that they tended to stay on their feet and get on with it.
