Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense

Isn't the clue in the name? Mo chat...

Not necessarily,  no. But it did cross my mind.

Easy to spot when you already know the answer

Isn't it Michael?   ;)

Blue Skys by Tom Waits

Blue Skys
Over my head
Give me another reason
to get out of bed

Blue skys shining my face
give me 'nother women to take her place

Ain't got no money
cupbeards are bear

no cigarettes
and the kids got nothing to wear

She walked out
without a word

Now that only sound left
is that morning bird... singin'

Blue skys over my head
Give me another reason
to get out of bed

Blue Skys
Shine my face
Give me 'nother women to take her place.

Blue skys over my head
Give me 'nother reason to get out of bed

Blue skys shining on face
give me'nother women to takeher place.
give me'nother women to takeher place.

This thread could be renamed Maurice's drunken memories if need be.

In my last tale I told my of my drunkeness while leaving behind  CDs of Man (Endangered Species) and Joni Michell (Shadows and Light)  and Tom Waits (maybe  Frank's Wild Years) in a strip club in San Francisco (because of being a fucked up young individual while in the US Navy.

Hopefully There is a (former?) stripper somewhere now that now is a fan of MAN et all.  For some reaso I think this leads to "The Golden Handshake" by Helpyourself.

Okay, so I wasn't so young. But hopefully a stripper from San Francisco is now a fan of Man.

And the lead in to "The Golden Handshake" by Helpyourself is now playing and I have to be true to my Maurice ears when I translate:

Lay your weary head down
Rest against the night
All you angels sleeping
Hold each other tight

All you angels sleeping
hold each other tight

OOOOOO...AHHH....OOOhhh
A golden hand comes out of the universe
embraces you. a child is born

an early morning shining star

OOOOOO...AHHH....OOOhhh
see that your soul
develops and grows and catches you quite unaware
but you will find you have to care

Dear Jackie said that we are all angels fallen from the morning star
struggling in a worldof pain to gain our wings.

You have the power deep in you
You have the flower asleep in you

You have the power deep in you
You have the flower asleep in you

Lay your weary head down
Rest against the night
All you angels sleeping
Hold each other tight

All you angels sleeping
Hold each other tight

You have the rainbow here at your feet
the colors you and your receipt

The Prince of plow
brushed with you
inside you

You have the power deep in you
You have the flower asleep in you

You have the power deep in you
You have the flower asleep in you

and the outro
is

"Jesus what are little kids for?"
