I'm really enjoying the self titled debut album by Koyo. A young band from from Leeds. It might appeal to quite a few Man boarders. Listen on Spotify.

I'll see your Koyo (don't have Spotify but have found  them on You Tube) and raise you a Red Bazaar - Nott's band, whose album from last year 'Tales From The Bookcase,' I can't get enough of (not on Spotify though I gather...so you maye have to try Bandcamp et al).

Good call Oakers. I really like that Red Bazar album with Peter Jones on vocals. Great prog with a bit of crunch now and then and Jones has a decent voice. I haven't listened to the two previous instrumental albums yet, but they should be interesting. On the strength of the Red Bazar album, I visited the Tiger Moth Tales pages, but as yet I am not as impressed as Red Bazar. A few  more listens required. I look forward to seeing Peter Jones next year on the Camel tour.

Oakers, you didn't say what you thought of Koyo. Not a bad debut I reckon.and good enough to be in the top 25 best albums of the year in Classic Rock magazine. Apparently, llve, they improvise a bit as well, a bit like another group we know and love.

Only just dipped my toe  Akko...but I like what I've heard thus far and will probably just buy the album on the strength of your recommendation. Not had a bum steer from you yet...and Howlin' Rain and CBP are still among the regulars on my listening menu. The TMT stuff is much mellower than the Red Bazaar...and may lack sufficient bite for your palate. I love 'em though, the new one 'Depths of Winter' especially.
