Backstage at the Green, Kinross 12/09/18

Hello,
I saw Man for the first time on Wednesday 12/09. I'm a relatively new to Man's music, having really gotten into then and caught up with some of their extensive back catalogue in the last year or two. I'm a newbie here too, and this is my first post.
Let me tell you that the Kinross show was absolutely sublime! Probably about 80 - 100 people in attendance. Highlights for me were: Romain, Spunk Rock, C'mon, Mad About Her, Bananas. I liked the two new songs, Manor Farm and Holy Flame (?). They're definitely growers, and in looking forward to playing this some more. In fact the whole show - nearly two solid hours of playing was outstanding. The interplay of James' and Josh's guitars was something to behold. In fact all of the band were on fire. Malcolm's fantastic synth and keys solos, and his acoustic guitar Shane's drumming, and the main Man Martin providing the backbone around which the band structured some amazing music. I was surprised to research afterwards that Malcolm has a long history with the band. He doesn't look old enough! There were several 'goosebump' moments.
I had the privilege of speaking with Martin Ace after the show, and what a thoroughly nice bloke.
The only downside was after the show when some twat thought it was ok to barter with the merch stall, and save himself cash. I guess he did buy a lot, but after 2 hours of entertainment from top musicians I didn't grudge the band whatever they were charging. I bought the Faith dvd/cd and the new ep. Both excellent!
I'm glad to read here that Man are coming back to Kinross in February. I for one can't wait. Thanks guys if you're reading this! I'll be there, barring natural disasters or emergencies!
Ps Please excuse the inevitable typos in this. I haven't had a chance to edit it.
Cheers,
Andrew

Welcome aboard, Andrew.

I may well be at Kinross in February too. It's a great venue.

Yep, welcome aboard the good ship, Man. Maybe more a rowing boat these days, than the cruise liner of years ago, but it's our rowing boat.

Did you know tradition has it that newbies to the Board add a photo of themselves to their avatar.  ;)

My pleasure, Andrew.

With such a prominent name as Andrew, you never know, your surname just could have been Lauder...

Or reading your post...

Ace...

Or Gough...
