I reckon Wales are going to do ok tonight....hope you will all be having a pint or two or three to calm the nerves..I know you trashed our "not too good " English squad so lets pray for a repeat Welsh performance against France ;) tonight.......C'MON WALES.... :)

Awesome match. I was on the edge of my seat. Could have ended up 30-16 if France had put over the missed penalties, even more if that try of theirs had been allowed.

Dissapointed of course, but can't really blame the lads. France had done their homework and rattled us into desparate defence, last-gasp indiscipline and pressured errors. No room to breathe out there.

The only criticism is that we stuck to the policy of kicking into play every time. We could have kicked for touch (even with the wretched ELVs) to slow the pressure a few times and could have kept ball in hand a bit more ( but the forward pressure did involve a lot of risk, there). Don't think I've ever seen a game where the ball carrier (on either side) could get so isolated with team mates within a couple of metres. Just goes to show the pace of the game is evolving so fast without the need for these antipodean moron (sorry, it pisses me off) ELVs.

they are trial new rules for the game....they are trying them with the Southern hemisphere as well as us but the Southern are trying diff new rules..all gets more complicated when say England play Australia....
