went to the recent gig at Pontardawe Arts Centre, 4/11/18.. I wouldn,t consider myself a huge  Wishbone Ash fan, and i didn,t know what to expect ,after  all this is the 49th year of the band,s existence..i know most of the classic tracks, but would it be a  lacklustre run through of past glories ...not a bit of it!!!I made it two hours of superb  music ...Andy Powell, guitar  / vocals , Bob Skeat bass  /  vocals, Joe Crabtree , drums, and Mark Abrahams guitar   excellent sound and a really good turn out for a sunday night  support was by Felix Rabin, a young French  guitarist, with bass and drum support , really talented , and full of  vitality...a really worthwhile  night out ..if you get a chance , give ,em a whirl...Mike

Incidentally, i remember going to an open air gig at a rugby ground in Port Talbot on a saturday afternoon probably in the 1970,s but could have been the 80,s, and Wishbone Ash were the headliners (i think) ..a lot of alcohol was consumed...can anyone from the South Wales area add anything to this? I know it,s a bit vague   and a long shot, , but i would like to date it more accurately

to answer  my own question, the gig was at ROCK THE QUINS(Harlequins RFC)and the date 13 may 1995, which really surprised me, i thought it was much earlier...the  passage of time  !!!

I too was at the Wishbone Ash gig at Pontardawe in November. Everything Mikey A says is correct. They really are on top form. The venue is lovely as well.
