Sad news - apart from The Pink Fairies he was an original member of Motorhead and was also on the infamous Live Stiffs tour where Terry Williams played in his band Larry Wallis' Psychedelic Rowdies.

I met Larry in the 1970's during one of the Pink Fairies many reunions. He was certainly a character and I recall he had this very manic smile. I had recently been to see the who and had a badge which I think they gave away at the gig. Larry really wanted the badge for some reason and offered me all sorts of "inducements" to part with it. In the end I did as I had another one but declined the "inducements".

RIP Mr City Kid.
