Malcolm Morley
« on: November 13, 2019, 12:40:45 AM »
Rarer than Halley's Comet, a Malcolm Morley gig. Feb 16 at the Half Moon. Been a pleasure to see Malcolm at the Betsy T and the other pub where we had the aborted sub competition, will be a belter seeing him perform with a full band. Getting excited already. Yaaaay!!

Incidentally, talking of London gigs, December 10th at the 100 Club. Looking forward to seeing James Oliver Band (almost said Glas).

I'm a happy lad. Just wish I still had a footy team to support  ;D

After half a dozen Malcolm gigs at the BEtsy, can't wait for the new band with Rob in it at the Half Moon. With Malcolm and Rob fresh from gigging shoulder to shoulder in Man, I'm hoping it will have overtones of the Helps' glorious reunion at the Roundhouse in 74.....
Rob W- it would be an honour finally to meet you. And
Mr. St. Hibbins usually manages to struggle up from the wilds of Borneo, sorry, Bournemouth for a Malcolm gig - c'mon!

Olly; "an honour"? I think you have me mixed up with somebody else.  :)

Enjoying the Malc cd, very bob dylan and a lot of spiritual/religious imagery, quite a surprise.

More importantly has Malc fronted a band in recent years, aside from the occasional Green Ray sojourn at the Plough?

Olly, we so nearly met. You introduced yourself to Sir Allan of Heron. Well I was sat behind him. I didn't want to butt in.

incidentally, fabulous gig. Fabulous evening.
