« on: November 26, 2020, 08:29:46 PM »
More songs from the Lausanne 1970 gig have recently emerged on YouTube to go with 'Spunk Rock' which was uploaded some 4 years ago.  This is the Deke-less Micky/Clive/Ray/Jeff/Martin lineup.

Is that a TV camera in front of Mr Ace? If so, I demand to see the footage  ;D

Or it does look like something my dentist would have used back in the day

Yes, it does indeed appear to be a TV camera.  This lineup appeared on 'Pop Hot' on TSR Swiss TV on 4/3/70, so it could very well be a still from that show.

Awesome! I have some man footage of them playing it is as it must be at the beat club in 1969.

oh, yes, I didn't remember Shit on the world is also called It is as it must be.
So yes, Newyorkmanfan is right! This song from Beat Club 1969 surfaced only for a few hours in Youtube in 2019.
It's a almost 12 minutes outstanding performance! This material seems verrrrry forbidden.
It looks it the same day than Brother's Arnold and 2:30 definitely. Jeff clothes are different but the others aren't. A great Clive singing and playing guitar.

And there is more.... That day in 2019 also surfaced a second version of "2:30 definitely", only with go-go girls and the MAN logo on screeen all the time.
It lasts 2:50. Very rare! It's still available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnTlf5OFiC8
It sounds like a studio version because you can't hear the audience.

We did talk here:

It's the video where they play shit on the world. I remember they played brother arnolds and 2:30 definitely. I don't know why they made the video private though it's stupid since that video has some of micky's best guitar work. The solo on shit on the world gave me some real mike pinera vibes when he was in iron butterfly with the bends, vibrato and tone although micky was playing a es 335.
