Hi! When it comes to guitars, deke's 1959 custom tele sticks out since it is considered butchered with the 2 holes and the bulls eye design which would be considered a vintage guitar horror story but thats what makes it fascinating and the fact it was used to record a lot of the man albums and was a great sounding tele.I know he had a 1968-70 Strat neck on it since he got electrocuted on the guitar. I wonder since I read about that the tele was stolen in 1993 in Austria but I wonder where that guitar is. I would love to know and maybe see if it could be tracked down. Then again that was almost 30 years ago. Anyone know?
