Walrus is a my standout Martin Ace song, by a long way. Great tune and some great wordplay in the lyrics.

..oh dear!!..

Walrus is a great tune. I'll have to listen to it again to pick up on wordplay but it's catchy.

Cheesy Classic rock, eh? Some contenders on Twang, surely? Woman, Chimes at Midnight, Fast and Dangerous.... even those latter day live staples, Chinese Cut and "Feather". Those proggers Jethro Tull came out with a song with a riff identical to Martin's dance of the Marsupials. So is this album streaking away down Hangar Straight ( with a nod to Rob W) as the cheesiest classic rock Man album ?

And for those of us who like our members of the Manband to be non cheesy, but deserving of McCartney-esque status as a writer, I'll be heading over to the Half Moon tomorrow, a month late to see him with Man, but just in time to see his solo gig.....
