'New' albums on YouTube
« on: May 20, 2021, 08:12:11 PM »
If you go the 'Man - Topic' channel on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAai2FJigGb4XHR3JhuJTSw/playlists, and look at the playlists, there are some unfamiliar albums in the 'Albums & Singles' section in addition to the ones we would expect to see:

Free Clyde: Not our band, this is rap

Live Session: Live Radio Broadcast Collection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jATuF52gVhE&list=OLAK5uy_nhMjlG54-rhzR0VIWV6-e01cRFABpLbME

Let The Good Times Roll Live: The classic Radio Broadcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIypgXHO7nM&list=OLAK5uy_mmfbjZKsW-_msSv9_RLwjMZKRaCt_g9RQ

Massive Audio Nerve:  by M.A.N.

Obey, Consume, Reject: by M.A.N.

Peacenemy:  by M.A.N.

Journey to the Crown: not 'our' band

Just listening to this classic Radio Broadcast--Excellent sound recording.I was unaware of this.I am assuming it's from the farewell tour.(1976)Spunk Rock has a funkier feel to it.The comments are disactivated so no info there.

I like the funky versions of spunk rock. I like the version from the savoy Tivoli club from august. John McKenzie's bass playing really transformed the group.

The 2 'albums' appear to be the same, same setlist & track times  :(

Well spotted Joan.Just listening to Spunk Rock again and 4 minutes 25 in and in my opinion Phil Ryan sounding exactly like Ray Manzerek on Riders on the Storm
