BBC Wales - Rewind: 60 years of Welsh Pop
« on: August 26, 2022, 12:29:29 AM »
A Wales BBC program TV series.
The 70s show features acts such as Badfinger, Man, Dave Edmunds, Bonnie Tyler and Young Marble Giants,
plus classic TV performances by perennial Welsh pop legends, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey.

Anyone could download it and share it? There is a direct download link in the BBC page... Not available outside UK  :'(

Thanks for the links. I was kinda surprised to see Man on a pop show. I've just watched the 70s show, a bit of a mixed bag.

The Man bits are a B&W interview clip from Clearwell Castle with Will talking, and then a studio performance of Day & Night, with Ken (but no sign of Malcolm). Terry also appears at the end with Dave Edmunds (plus Breeze & Lowe) on 'Girls Talk'.

Other acts are Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Badfinger, Andy Fairweather-Low (with a v good organ player, complete with Pooh Bear. Anyone know who he was? Blue Weaver maybe? Rabbit bundrick?), Sweet, Bonnie Tyler, Tony Etoria, film of people protesting about the Sex Pistols gig in Caerphilly, Young Marble Giants (was the singer awake?), Dave Edmunds recording 'Baby I Love You' at Rockfield.

I CAN download it, but I don't know how to make it available to anyone else.

You can download it but am pretty sure the download has limits. I know you can’t burn them to disc.

yes, Iowerth Pritchard kindly uploaded the first programs for me.
The 1973 piece with the band playing Never say nups is superb, I hope to watch the whole thing when I buy the pack Man: Life On The Road – On Air 1972-1983, 6CD Box Set
I suppose there is any Man in the 80's and 90's programs.

No, there is no Man, and no Terry, in either the 80's or 90's programmes
Depending how many "degrees of separation" interest you - there is Bonnie Tyler (link=Ronnie Scott)- and Tigertailz (although Glenn Quinn wasn't with them at the time)
