It still really grates how wrong and inappropriate Sandra Dickenson was as Trillian.

The macaw from that advert said she was very difficult to deal with. Which was surprising, as at the time he wasn't a talking parrot........
And while we are on the subject of old adverts and squeaky Sandra, anybody remember the appaling futuristic advert where her equally wrong and inappropriate husband was demonstrating a gadget (an induction hob, I fancy it was) and ol' squeaky appeared on a videophone wristwatch saying: "You can put the dinner on, honey, I'll be home in twenty minutes"?
Gentlemen, let's hear it for the nineties - the decade that largely saw off at least one of the worst showbiz couples ever. Too bad that it gave us Richard & Judy as a return parting shot........
