The Micky Jones Guitar is going ahead, as I write this Gary is taking measurements and photo's etc of the guitar.  A prototype will be made for myself and then the guitar will be made to order.  Anyone interested in buying one of these guitars please e-mail me at george-jones9@ntlworld.com

Donations are welcome towards the prototype guitar, this will be a great help for dad.  Many people ask how they can help, this would benefit him greatly, if every Manfan could help out.  Please contact me reguarding donations.  A prototype has to be made to get the guitar off the ground so we can market it.
 
The Guitar will be available in a choice of three finishes.
 
Closest Classic - The guitar will be as close to it's original condition as possible when bought
New Old Stock - The guitar will show minor wear and upgrades made by Micky i.e. Grover Machine Heads
Relic - The Guitar will be Relic'd to look like it's current self.
More info will follow as well an official website to accompany the guitar.

George, any chance of guitar lessons for a Ham fisted, cack handed drummer like me, made deaf by over enthusuastic use of loud cymbals?  :)

Thuis guitar sounds very desirable (new old stock version, and maybe a purchase just to look at an admire. Though i'm not sure that it would be doing it justice, it needs to be played!!

What form should any donation be in - cheque / paypal etc?  I've seen loads of messages over the years offering to help out, so now would seem to be a good time to put money where the moputh is.

I don't have a lot of spare cash floating about, but am happy to donate.  Are you able to say what sort of money is needed to build the prototype so that we can get an idea of the scale of money required?  I appreciate that you may not be allowed to say, but if it was a 'reasonable' amount, it may encourage people to give.
