Hi folks,
I used to read the old Man forum, but only posted once, I think - I much prefer this style of forum. Anyway, I've seen Man once - in 2005 at Coventry Jazz festival (On the same bill as Caravan.) Up until then I'd heard of Man [I'm a child of the 80s who prefers prog rock] but only ever heard a couple of tracks - now busy collecting the new remasters as they come out - along with a lot of other great stuff from Esoteric (Check out "I Spider" by the "Web" and Arena by Marsupilami... Oh, and the Space Ritual CD is good as well...).
I was mezmerised by MJ's playing at the gig, and saddened to hear that not long afterwards he fell ill.

Bought a signed copy of Diamonds and Coal from the website (It's gone now!) and really do like it - it sounds like Man, but also has a modern sound to it. I hope we'll see more new music from the linup. Don't get to many gigs since starting a family!
Right, I'm off to esoteric's web store to get Maximum Darkness & Slow Motion...
