My lad's birthday tomorrow...
« on: August 28, 2009, 03:39:09 PM »
On the day Shakers play our local derby away to Roch fail. Not bad. He was a regular home and away fan by the time he was 2. Then he used to cheer when the ball was booted in the sky. Then getting a little older,  he'd cheer whenever a goal was scored, no concept of we were the team in white! Tomorrow, he''ll be in the corner taunting the Fail fans, giving it large. Time passes dunnit?

More importantly, he's seen Man once, at Sutton. Even more important, he's met MJ twice.

I know all this has got absolutely b*gg*r all to do with anyone, but I'm all misty eyed.

Oh, he's got a cracking business on ebay, doing a bomb. I think that may have to be my plan 'B' !!

Heartwarming stuff, Rob

When you're at the game tomorrow, let me know how the Rochdale keeper does.  His name is Kenny Arthur and played with Partick Thistle for just over 10 years.

..he's seen Man once, at Sutton..

Think I was there.. Wish him well from us.. What's he trading on E-bay..?

I've been to the pub, took me a second or two to realise that "MJ" wasn't the cadbury creme egg killer from the Jackie Leven site..!! Shame on me..`

I'm sorry there is no such thing as a best Geranium. These are the devil's offspring. The stench!

....which sort gives creedence to my theory that it's possibly something thats been recently happening to some of us once a quote box has been inserted. Maybe.

Allan, can't tell you anything about the Fail keeper. Don't think he touched the ball. Should have watched him in the warm up!

Pete, Marc has some suppliers from whom he purchases stuff cheap, and flogs. Mainly household goods eg TV's, irons, kettles, but sat navs as well. X boxes going particularly well apparently.

Martin, you can have my season ticket? They're sh*te :(    Mind you, still going to walsall on tuesday night....

I had just sent a mail to my mate in Toronto about how well Cardiff were doing and then watched the results come in...
Bloody Doncaster!!!

Mind you, still going to walsall on tuesday night....

That's a good lad. Through thick and thin eh?
I'm tempted to go and watch the Ripping Yarns footie episode "Golden Gordon". "Eight bloody nil!"
