I used MDF, larger than pitch size to provide arm support when playing near the edge but with the corners cut to prevent the entire pitch from being bashed by players' frantic movements - and to discourage people from using it as an area to skin up!

Blinkin' eck, Nick, compared to you, I'm a lightweight. Respect! bet you go on the subbuteo forum site.

How many extra mms (measurement, not them chocolate things) of MDF do you have. I was thinking about 30 down the touchlines, but virtually none behind the goals as you need to hold the goalie.

I may transport it to the Green Ray gig on 11 Dec  :)
Hey everyone, Is this not the best thread ever?

A cousin of mine couldn't get his tongue around the real name and used to call it substituto.

That's almost welsh for substitute you know.

I'll get me tacsi.

No, this one is quite enough to provide the necessary distraction!

From memory I think it was an extra 10 cm all round.
Nationsounds - the label that brought you Shake The Nation and raised £1,500 in memory of Micky...
