Only posts that have nothing to do wih the preceding post may be posted here. (much the same as any other thread on this board!)
on an unrelated note, played Maximum Darkness on headphones last night.
On reflection should have used a CD player, it might have sounded better. Though I might not have.
(apologies for mentioning something directly Man related)

My Mum and stepdad are coming up today from Dinas Powys.

Toothpaste is a good way of removing those ugly acid stains on coins.

Just been told Boxing Day they're coming round to ours, and I'm doing a goose (the bird - feathered variety, not some kind of a dance).

Julian, This is all wrong, Let me help you out, What you were trying to say was 'Acid is good', toothpaste on coins is ugly and leaves stains.....

just got back from the local shopping centre. nothing of any note happened. bought a pasty from greggs and had it for lunch with a can of diet coke and a packet of cheese and onion crisps while listening to question time on bbc radio 4.

Despite my best efforts, I still can't work out how to change the bulb in my bathroom mirror and intend going to the place I bought the mirror from to see if they can help. 
I have the replacement bulb which came with a two year guarantee which is ticking away even though it's not being used.

Just about to put a new thermostat in the car. Most cars it's simple, but this is a bugger to get to.
