Sin City Iceberg on DimeADozen
« on: June 05, 2008, 12:25:15 AM »
Date: 8th November 2007
Band: Deke Leonard's Iceberg
Venue: Sin City, Swansea

Tracklist:
01 intro
02 the ride and the view
03 unknown
04 circumstances
05 unknown
06 bring it on home
07 unknown
08 7171 551
09 daughter of the fireplace

Taper: sonicsavage

Lineage: Giant Squid mics -> iRiver HD340 running rockbox, recording in CD quality wav format -> USB -> Adobe Audition (volume normalisation, EQ) -> GoldWave for tracksplitting -> TLH (FLAC)

I had the input levels way too low so the music was too close to the noise floor and you can hear what sounds like tape hiss during the quiet bits of the show.

Iceberg were supporting Spaceritual.

MJ.  thanks for letting us know, currently at 94% so should be able to have a listen when I get home tonight..

If any non-dimers want a copy, drop us a line, don't mind doing a few copies..

Whats interesting with this gig is that Deke gave Taff a copy of the Dugout DVD to learn the set and if you listen a lot of the guitar parts sound like how Brian played them rather than the original versions. Check out R&TV for example.

Apparantely the second gig at the Plough shortly after he was starting put his own stamp on things a lot more. Shame theres been no gigs since then...
