Undrugged
« on: January 26, 2010, 03:36:42 PM »
Having a bit of a sort and found my copy of Undrugged.

In the Archive it says:

Trivia: The first five hundred copies of the CD have the eleven tracks presented in a different sequence to that shown on the cover, a happy accident that will make them of greater value to Manfans a few years in the future.

My copy has the tracks listed in a different order on the cover to the track listing Jules gives.
As my copy is still sealed I don't know what order they play on the CD.
Did the first 500 have the track listing on the cover and the sequence on the CD incorrect (but matching)?

It was a balls-up!  ;D Depends on if it was re-pressed I guess.

Been racking my brains but can't remember when or where I got it.
It has a "For Promotional Use Only Not For Sale"sticker on the wrapper...

Would it have sold more than 500?

I've got one and the tracks are out of sequence.  " Sun mode" are there any other readsers out ther with similar interesting stories?  Are you one of the 500?

But, all joviality aside, go on, stop laughing and pull yourselves together, are there any stats available on sales of various albums?  I recall Deke saying something about touring an album and if 30, 000 people saw the band, they sold 30,000 albums.

All respondees will be entered into a prize draw for a week in 5 star luxury in.  Damnit, my keyboard just broke.  Competition cancelled.

Hi Rob, It must of, see image of my copy different track listing to the one put up by Jules. Plays in the sequence as listed on the cover. Guess I'm not one of the 500.

My copy is the same as Mr Bannon's and plays as advertised. How boring not to part of a balls-up!

Mine has the same listing as John's but I don't know what the playing order is.
John, is that an image of the back or of part of the insert as the back of mine does not look like that?

It's the back part of the insert, attached should be the back of the CD.

Did you say somebody's doing a rapping version of Man songs?

Mine is the same as Pete T's. Never read the cover before!

Also re: Help Yourself 1 - I had to check to ensure that mine was on Liberty which it is.

I had always assumed it was on UA - shows how long it is since I listened to it. Something for the weekend turntable?
